[Bug 20788] New: TCP/IP package bug

http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20788

           Summary: TCP/IP package bug
           Product: eCos
           Version: 1.3.1
Platform: edb7xxx (Cirrus Logic EDB7xxx development board)
        OS/Version: ARM
            Status: ASSIGNED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: low
         Component: Other
AssignedTo: jld at ecoscentric dot com
ReportedBy: anonymous at sourceware dot cygnus dot com

If change something in the network configuration of eCos and try
to save it, the kernel configurator crashes. It seems to save
things fine, except for onetime when it did not remember the new
IP address I entered.

How-To-Repeat:
Open EP7212 template
Import the three relevant network packages
save
change network configuration from bootp to "address setups for
eth0"
save
watch configurator crash
reopen saved configuration
new options show up
compile
test
_old_ options used in test.

Fix:
Do everything on WinNT or 2000

As you pointed out this problem only occurs under Windows 95/98.
Unfortunately this platform is not currently supported by us due to some
cygwin tcl/tk problems although we hope to have a resolution for them
sometime in the future. until then, we suggest you use the Config Tool
 under Windows NT.

 Thanks
