[Bug 1000026] New: Possible net stack overflow problem

http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1000026

Summary: Possible net stack overflow problem
           Product: eCos
           Version: unknown
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://ecos.sourceware.org/ml/ecos-discuss/2003-
                    06/msg00433.html
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: low
         Component: TCPIP
        AssignedTo: gary@mlbassoc.com
        ReportedBy: jifl@ecoscentric.com
         QAContact: ecos-bugs@sources.redhat.com

[Low priority]

As per http://ecos.sourceware.org/ml/ecos-discuss/2003-06/msg00433.html it seems
that the net stack may buckle irrecoverably under high load. This *might* be
driver specific, but someone should verify this with some saturation testing, as
this is not the first time something like this has been reported, which seems
more than a coincidence.
