The eCos Configuration Tool does not present CDL item values containing newline
chars correctly (eg CYGDAT_UITRON_TASK_INITIALIZERS). The wxMSW version of
configtool displays the newline chars as non-printing chars. The wxGTK version
of configtool attempts to display multiple lines within a single row of the
configuration tree. Both versions of the tool should present the newline chars
as C-style escape sequences where appropriate.
