Summary: documentation tree in navigation panel does not open
at viewed document
Product: eCos
Version: CVS
Platform: All
OS/Version: HostOS: Win NT/2k/XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: low
Component: ConfigTool
AssignedTo: unassigned@bugs.ecos.sourceware.org
ReportedBy: alexs@ecoscentric.com
CC: ecos-bugs@ecos.sourceware.org
Class: Advice Request
When opening the eCos Documentation and navigating through using the
documentation tree panel (the navigation buttons do not work as per bug
1001146), the documentation tree is obviously open at the document you are
viewing.
However, if you follow a link from the documentation panel on the right the
tree remains at the original location. It does not adjust as the Linux version
does (even though the Linux version does this incorrectly when navigating
through the links on the right - see bug 1001148).
This problem also manifests itself when you double-click the "URL" link from a
configuration item. For example, if you open the eCos configuration tree and
move to the "PCI configuration library", the configuration "Properties" box
will contain a "URL" value of "ref/io-pci.html". If you double-click on this,
the documentation windows opens at the corresponding document. However, the
document tree in the navigation panel does not open at the document being
viewed as it does under Linux.
This problem exists in the snapshot released this morning as well as 3.0.
