Hi Bernard. I apologize, but I haven't tested although I would like to see how
Kinetis drivers beehive with respect to this issue.
Nevertheless, as stated earlier I acknowledge your findings as well as efforts
to fix the problem. My only concern is: do we have to extend the kernel API or
can we implement the solution on architecture level.
Your patch proposal doesn't seem to affect/harm other architectures and you
have provided some arguments. It would be good if we have comments from other
colleagues, possibly eCos architects.
