Hi Jérôme
RedBoot allows users to store images in flash and either execute them
directly from flash or load them into RAM for execution. RedBoot is itself
just an image which is executed from flash directly. On most boards it is
possible to update RedBoot in flash using RedBoot itself. Depending on the
way in which RedBoot is configured to startup, it may be necessary to run a
different version of RedBoot from RAM in order to update the flash image.
