Hi,
I want to build eCos1.3.1 for ARM-AEB1revC on a PC host running Cygwin
1.1.1 on WinNT 4.0 with servicepack 4 installed.
However, the build crashes when running the first Makefile. It seems
like the make program cannot handle the DOS-formatted Makefile that is
generated from the eCos config tool. (I have verified that make works
correctly on a UNIX-formatted Makefile...)
My eCos repository is resident in C:\opt\ecos
My ecos build directory is set to C:\cygnus\build
Cygwin is installed in C:\cygnus, which in cygwin is mounted on / in
textmode
When running 'mount', it tells me that all mounts are mounted with the
flag 'textmode'.
I suspect this could be due to the problems with binary mounts etc, but
I simply cannot figure out why this is since it seems I have textmode
mounts
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
/Kjell
