Problem with ping_test

On my system (non standard powerpc) the ping_test only receives 14 good
answers. After this the TCP/IP stack is corrupt. If I then ping the system
the sequence numbers of the replies are always 0x300 smaller than the request.
Did somebody run ping_test and get 16 good replies?
