hum.. this doesn't work so well:

fabrice@FABRICE /e/tests/i386/net-001_build
$ make -C net/tcpip/current/ tests TESTS=ping_lo_test
make: Entering directory `/e/tests/i386/net-001_build/net/tcpip/current'
make: *** No rule to make target `ping_lo_test.d', needed by `tests.stamp'.
Stop.
make: Leaving directory `/e/tests/i386/net-001_build/net/tcpip/current'
