hello,
I had completed building tools RH Linux 6.2
with binutils-2.10,gcc 2.95.2 and gdb 5.0 .Had also
applyed the patch ecos-gcc-2952.pat to gcc.
$ecosconfig new linux
$ecosconfig tree
All seemed to have been none fine.
But make is giving me errors saying
make[1]: i686-pc-linux-gnu-ar:Command not found.
When checked for the above command it was not
found.Are the tools which were build ok???
The following were found in the
/tools/H-i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin directory.
c++ i686-linux-gnu-as
i686-linux-gnu-ranlib
c++filt i686-linux-gnu-c++filt
i686-linux-gnu-readelf
cpp i686-linux-gnu-gasp
i686-linux-gnu-size
g++ i686-linux-gnu-gprof
i686-linux-gnu-strings
gcc i686-linux-gnu-ld
i686-linux-gnu-strip
gdb i686-linux-gnu-nm
i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
i686-linux-gnu-addr2line i686-linux-gnu-objcopy
i686-linux-gnu-ar i686-linux-gnu-objdump
I dont find i686-pc-linux-gnu-ar
above.What should I be doing now??
Thanks in advance for any help.
Mahesh
