? Isn't that Bluetooth? Or do you mean a wireless network adapter
which is connected to the host via USB instead of being a PCI card?

I've not looked, but i would be very supprised if this is true. I
expect the devices us loadable kernel modules, like pcmcia does. When
you plug in a new device is will load the correct kernel module for
the device.
