The first patch was made against cvs last septmeber or october, and has
not been maintened since november or december.
There's no way this patch will work against a release. There's not much
chance against recent cvs neither. Maybe you're best bet will be to
checkout a cvs from when the patch was made, apply it, then update to
recent cvs.
But if you really wants it working, i sugest you just rewrite it. I
think there has been a lot of improvment in eCos this driver would
benefit from.

Tss tss.. this is not the ethernet patch. According to the file name
this is the HAL patch. This one should be easier to port to recent cvs,
but i think a few thing have been applied inside cvs now.
