Why 2 82559 drivers?

I was looking over the ethernet drivers recently, and noticed that there
are two drivers for the Intel 82559:
\packages\devs\eth\arm\iq80310\current\src\if_iq80310.c and
\packages\devs\eth\intel\i82559\current\src\if_i82559.c. I'm curious: why
are there two drivers for this chip? Is the 80310 so different that it
needed its own version of the driver?
