Ok, forget about the whole WinCE restoration, which seems to bother you that much.

I'm trying to install RedBoot permanently in my iPAQ's flash memory. When I try to perform the steps give in the iPAQ RedBoot documentation, the procedure fails with the same error (Error 0x2 when trying to erase flash). Here's what redboot initialy displays in the LCD screen, upon initialization:

FLASH: 0x50000000 - 0x51000000, 64 blocks of 0x00040000 bytes each.
FLASH configuration checksum error or invalid key
... Waiting for network card: .........No network interfaces found

RedBoot(tm) bootstap and debug environment - built 09:51:53, Jun 22 2001

Platform: Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC (StrongARM 1110)
Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, Red Hat, Inc.

RAM: 0x00000000-0x02000000, 0x0004f000-0x01fb0000 available
RedBoot>

I'm using RedBoot because: 1. The Compaq's bootldr does not work with my iPAQ (it doesn't present me with a boot> prompt), 2. I'm trying to install in the flash, the eCos demo version.

	Any ideas what's wrong?
