Importance: High
Hello Sankar & all guys,
well, my cvs is working now.
I did not change any environment variables.
I think cvs server there should be set to read-only mode such that
the history file could not created there.
Try to add a option '-l' into your cvs lines...
i.e.
cvs -l -d :pserver:anoncvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/ecos -z 9 co -P ecos
now it's downloading ...

Subject: cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/nohome): No such file or
directory
Hello Simon,
I have same problem as yours and I saw
your post on the ECOS mail archive. I am using windows
2000 professional and I have installed Wincvs1.3.7.1
and I have also installed Python and TCL. I am able
to login to the CVS server but when I eexcute the following command
cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@sources.redhat.com:/cvs/ecos -
z 6 co -P ecos
I am getting the following error
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/nohome): No such
file or directory.
Is there any environment variable need to be set??
Can you please help me. I am unable to understand what
Andrew has mentioned in his email post.
Thanks in Advance
Sankar
