Sorry:

 I've been off for a few days. In fact, I never used RedBoot xmodem or zmodem. 
I usualy work with GDB or Insight to load, debug and run eCos programs. For 
loading only  I used only transfer from the tftp server on ethernet.

 Maybe somebody else can tell You how it works.
