sources.redhat.com/ecos is maintained, but not by Red Hat.
The last official release of eCos was 1.3.1, licensed under the RHEPL.
That is why the various web pages still refer to the old license.
Currently there is no schedule for a full 2.0 release using the new
GPL+exception license. Instead people have to use anoncvs or a
snapshot of the anoncvs repository.
I know there was work happening a little while back to update the web
pages, officially switching from 1.3.1 to snapshots/anoncvs. There
were problems on the Windows side, rebuilding the host-side tools and
getting everything installed correctly including registry entries and
the like. I am not sure of the current status of that work.
