The fact of the matter is that this is obviously what people are doing,
judging by the number of posts on the subject.

So remove the 1.3.1 links, then they have no alternative. I appreciate what
you are saying, however, for example, many people who wish to use eCos will
not have English as their native language and judging by the use of English
on some of the posts (which in no way is meant to be a critcism, just an
observation), this does need to be taken into consideration.
