- Subject: [ECOS] Memory Layout questions
Hi
I got some questions about the memory layout of ecos and redboot.
I am currently workng on the eb40a evaluation board.
I would like to prepare a romram version of redboot. I try to follow the .ldi
files from eb40 as an example.
1) From the redboot_romram.ldi file, do I need to specify the rom information?
The eb40 port does not specify the rom/flash information in the
redboot_romram.ldi file.
2) Do I need to create an assembly routine that copies the data from rom to ram
before the kernel startup.
3) If I need to create that routine, can anyone show me the example?
Thanks for your help
Wilson
