The reason I am looking for a alternative platform is that we plan to
develope to sets of hardware one with lots of functions with GPRS and GPS
and another with basic serial fucntions, the thing is that most of the
software to handle the serial input will be reusable between platforms, that
is why we are looking for a cheaper alternative to the falcom one.
Why I am after is a basic piece of boxed hardware with 12v supply capable of
handling a couple of serial inputs outputs and of course capable of running
eCos
