Re: Ethernet chips


I know a board with SMSC LAN91C111 ( we are partners with ATMEL at91 team, and they already showed us such a board ). This board uses an AT91M55800A.
I know that there is another corean chip (don't remember exactly the name) that is a non-PCI 10/100 ethernet chip.

Will you explain your need for ethernet connectivity. Are you sure that you really need 100BT. I'am afraid that the throuput will not be what you expect even for 100 Mbits connection. What about using a processor with an integrated ethernet device such AT91RM9200 ?
