Hi, to follow up on my earlier comments, here is the result of query I
put in to the Debian gcc maintainers:

Between the flag to turn of cxa_atexit, and defining an empty symbol,
I think it should be workable to not use an i386 'cross compiler'
setup to generate code for the pc floppy target.
