Hi Randy,
The CS8900 driver already exists in eCos. Check
out the source tree to find an other board that
uses this chip. Then you see what kind of files
and CDL entries you need. It is mostly copy and
paste, and you have to modify the memory mapping
for your target board (EB40).
I looked into this a while ago (pre 2.0) but
never found the time to start it.... :(
