I doubt that it will work. eCos/RedBoot have only ever been ported
to the H36x0 (I have a 3630) There are many changes to get it working
with the H38xx series.

At least on the H36xx, there was the "Parrot" loader (actually a
Macaw), which you access by holding down the "action" button (the
little joypad at the bottom of the unit) after turning on the unit
(or resetting it). This loader has a way to save & restore the FLASH
contents to/from a compact FLASH RAM device.
