Hi,
for platform i386 i compiled the redboot. First i made the compilation for floppy and all worked well. Afterwards i made the compilation for prom_flash. The compilation produced "redboot.bin, redboot.elf, redboot.img, romboot.bin, romboot.elf,romboot.bin". The size of redboot.ini is 64k. I check the romboot.bin with the ending of the redboot.bin and was the same. My test target is a compitable PC with award bios and a flash V29C51002T. It has 40000H size so i copied the redboot.bin to 0000h-1FFFFh, 10000h-1FFFFh, 20000h-2FFFFh, 30000h-3FFFFh. By this way the boot sector at the end has the redboot boot code. Also i enabled the writing to the flash boot sector. Afterwards i tested but nothing worked. Can anyone help, anyone has a tested redboot-rom bin to give me, or could instruct me?
Regards,
Teo.
