If you converted it to an SRecord file rather than a straight binary,
you should be able to load that using "load -m x".

I suspect that the problem may be in the .debug sections which have to
be loaded and disposed of before loading the actual code. Try running
arm-elf-strip on the ELF file and then load the stripped executable.
That ought to work.
