I just took the Linux synthetic target for a spin under coLinux, using
the CygWin X server.
Worked like a charm!
Surely the advantages of porting the synthetic target to Windows must
now be marginal.
www.colinux.org is a remarkable program. There are of course things that
VMWare supports(COM ports) that coLinux does not, and the setup
procedure has a few twists and turns, but these are miniscule issues
that are sure to be remedied as coLinux sooner rather than later.
Would it be worth the effort to write step-by-step instructions on how
to run the synthetic target under coLinux?
