There is also a PPP patch from Matt Jerdonek and I was going to look
at them both when I got the time to deal with them properly.
Taking a look at your patch now, it seems fine as a stand-alone
test. Since it doesn't touch anything else it can probably be checked
in right away. I was just hoping to test it first.
I'll see if I can find time in the next couple of days to check in
both these patches in.
