creating smallest binaries

Hi all,

Do you have any tips for creating the smallest binaries possible? I
know of the gcc options "-Os" "-ffunction-sections" and
"-fdata-sections". Are there any others that work well?

Any other general tips for conserving RAM? I'm using the EB40A ARM7
eval board with 256KB of RAM.

Thanks,
George
