- Subject: [ECOS] gdb debug channel
Hi,
I am working on an arm board. I want to use the gdb stub in Redboot for
debugging. I can download/break/step programs. However I can't separate
the Redboot command input channel from the debug channel. Every time I
need to connect to the target, I have to disconnect it first from my
console. Is this the right behavior? My configuration is:
CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_DEBUG_CHANNEL = 1
CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL = 0
The value of CYGDBG_HAL_DIAG_TO_DEBUG_CHAN doesn't seem to have impact.
Actually if I include gdb stub in the application I loaded, it can
separate those 2 channels correctly.
Can somebody help me with that?
Thanks
Zhao
