Local echo for apps running on top of RedBoot

- Subject: [ECOS] Local echo for apps running on top of RedBoot
I am trying to figure out how to enable console echo for apps that are
running on top of RedBoot. Specifically, I am trying to run non-eCos
apps; apps that are compiled using redboot.specs and the newlib/libgloss
stdc bindings. If the apps are run using GDB the the GDB console
handles the echo. However, the same app run under a generic terminal
emulator has no stdin echo. I am not sure if this should be handled in
RedBoot or from newlib. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Drew
