Network stack stripped from TCP

Subject: [ECOS] Network stack stripped from TCP

Hi, 
 I would like to build application with PPP and IP, but without 
memory hungry TCP support, how should I go about it? 
 At first I thought about replacing the code for tcp with empty stubs, but
I'm starting to think that for ppp I would need to create whole new
tcp-less stack to satisfy ppp's requirements.
