Yes,
DDD works fine, so long as you have an X windows server running. Since cygwin now provides an excellent (for the price...) Xwindows server, this is pretty easy, on a Windows PC. The ddd configuration is a little sticky at first, but once done, allows the use of any gdb, even 6.0.
