exec troubles

Hi all,

I did some searching of the mailing list, and found some interesting information. This mail:
http://sourceware.org/ml/ecos-discuss/2005-02/msg00229.html
And its subsequent responses seemed to indicate that the execution location for kernels from Redboot is fixed. Kernels not executing from this location give no response.

-My first question is given a version of redboot on a board, how can i determine this location?

-Next question is given the code, how can i change where this location is?

-Finally is there any way to specify it as a non-fixed location?

Many thanks,
-Adam
