wxWindows is needed if you want to compile the configuration GUI from
sources. Most people don't do this, they just use the pre-compiled
binary. This can be found in the eCos 2.0 release from
http://ecos.sourceware.org/getstart.html and more up to date versions
of the config tool can be found at
http://ecoscentric.com/devzone/configtool.shtml
