- Subject: [ECOS] eCosCentric contribution of M68K/ColdFire support
As part of the 3.0 release effort, eCosCentric is pleased to announce
that a subset of the eCosPro M68K/ColdFire codebase has now been
contributed to anoncvs. The contribution consists of the following
packages:
M68K architectural HAL
MCFxxxx variant HAL
MCF5272 processor HAL
M5272C3 platform HAL
MCFxxxx serial driver
MCFxxxx ethernet driver
This contribution replaces the original M68K support in the hal/m68k
hierarchy. It also supersedes the hal/coldfire support. The latter has
been left in the repository temporarily to make it easier for people
to migrate to the new codebase, but will be removed before the final
3.0 release.
Suitable m68k-elf toolchains are available @

cygwin: cygwin/ecoscentric-gnutools-m68k-elf-20081107-sw.cygwin.tar.bz2
At this stage no timescale has been set for contributing other eCosPro
M68K/ColdFire ports or device drivers.
