I guess the possibilities we have with pdfjadetex are limited to these
Gin@extensions={.pdf,.png,.jpg,.mps,.tif}.
I tried with pdf, png and jpg. Convesion to pdf (via eps) is possible, but
seems to give a crappy picture. Png works, but it's not so well supported on
windows. Jpeg seems to work (sharp enough) for both outputs.

Not Yet, I'm still just experimenting, since the seem to have left out the
stuff from pdfjadetex documentation. Nothing final.
My friend, who used to work a lot with TeX, says that the pictures get
incorporated into the final pdf, when the dvi that jadetex produces gets
converted. They are not manipulated by TeX engine in any way, just anchored.
