Yes, right.

Just in case, I have somewhere a Perl script that given a
structure/class, generates #define's of its fields offsets based on the
stabs debug format. This was my first and last trial in Perl
programming.

Ouch! Stabs is yucky enough, but reading it with Perl must have looked like some impressive line noise ;).


Nah, that really wouldn't help because most targets are moving to dwarf 2.
