I would still be interested to know if this will cause problems with the
"official" mipsisa32-elf tools from ftp.mips.com, i.e.
ftp://ftp.mips.com/pub/redhat/linux/
If it does, we may want to consider at the very least adding a release
note, but probably adding some sort of configuration option.
Nick, if you're unhappy about downloading 78MB, I can download and build
from those tools and then pass you binaries? Although that will probably
take longer than you leaving it downloading overnight tonight :).
