Til now we provide a binary distribution, but we want to 
write a short instruction how to compile the arm-elf 
toolchain with big-endian support.

You are right the best would be to include these 
instructions in the README file. Or better I write a link 
to http://ecos.sourceware.org/build-toolchain.html which 
provides the instructions.
