I am not sure whether this issue is linked to the 512 parts only. The 512
samples
We had for the S and X all worked without issues also some batches of the
production 
Parts also had no problems. Thus my conclusion is that it is process related
(Atmel fab issue)
And might not by limited to the 512 parts but might occur across the whole
family at some point.

Maybe it will be wise to cjange the CDL values across the whole at91sam7
family as the change will
add 1,5ms to the startup time of the device ( a value of 64 is suggested for
MOSCCOUNT ) but will in 
all likelyhood be more bullet proof to process variations.
