[Bug 20873] New: CR/LF Problem with make

http://bugs.ecos.sourceware.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20873

           Summary: CR/LF Problem with make
           Product: eCos
           Version: 1.3.1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: RESOLVED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: low
         Component: Other
AssignedTo: jifl at ecoscentric dot com
ReportedBy: anonymous at sourceware dot cygnus dot com

When I start to compile eCOS, Error occurs in makefile.
All files generated by eCOS Configuration tools have (CR/LF) at
the end of line but make runs in unix mode.
So when I compile eCOS I have to change all CR/LF to LF manually.
Can you help me?

You have to build on a cygwin mount point mounted in text mode. There was a
bug in the eCos configuration tool that did not mount this by default if
not already mounted. To work around this, type the following:

 mount -f c:/ /c
 mount -f d:/ /d
[ etc. for as many drives as you use ]

The eCos configuration tool should then use these mount points by default.
