There is nothing in the eCos license to force any manufacturer to tell
Red Hat or anybody else when they have used eCos in a product.
Sometimes a manufacturer does agree to a joint press release or
similar when eCos gets used in a product, e.g.
http://www.redhat.com/about/2000/press_ecos.html
In other cases we may know that a manufacturer is using eCos because
we have done contract work for them or because they have taken out a
support contract, but that sort of information is confidental. There
may any number of other products out there already using eCos, but we
do not know.
