I have no experience > with such ports but somehow it already works without any further > changes. that really makes no sense at all. there is clear documentation that the "sym = foo" syntax does not work for all ports, but ".set sym, foo" does. we made a similar change in uClibc to use .set in libc-symbols.h but never bothered pushing it upstream due to your remarkable penchant for accepting fixes. -mike
