Yes, I have received an explicit suggestion to drop the Tonos, (it showing 

that the vowel is a monophthong, not diphthong?). I assume it doesn't alter 

the pronunciation. Unfortunately the Expert didn't want to be explicitly 

referenced so included here on BCC.

And also there was a confirmation that substituting HOOK SYMBOLs with ` should

I'm totally transparent as to how these questions should be handled. In the sense
that if somebody has a reason to transliterate in any different way I would be 

fine with that.
