I will get back with all answers tomorrow (I already rebooted that x86_64 machine into a different kernel and started a long compile which will finish late in the evening).

Which platform are you running on? What does "stap -v -p3" say with respect to kprobe breakpoint addresses? How those addresses mesh with whatever is shown e.g. in /proc/kallsyms or "nm <your>.ko"?
